Please note: standard guest rooms are located on two floors, and there is no elevator access to the upper level. If stairs are a concern for you or anyone in your party, request a ground-floor room when you book.

Requests are welcome and encouraged more broadly — ground-floor accommodation, connecting or nearby rooms, bed configuration, and accessibility needs can all be noted with your reservation.

Getting to Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a United States territory, so no passport is required!

All attendees should plan to fly into Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. SJU offers nonstop and connecting flights from most major U.S. cities and serves as the primary international gateway to the island.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico is located approximately 30 minutes from the airport.

Airport Transfers & Ground Transportation

Several convenient transportation options are available from SJU to the resort. Taxi, Uber, and car rental services are available on the arrival level of the airport, outside of baggage claim

Hotel Transfers & Shuttles – We strongly recommend you pre-book an airport transfer and take advantage of Founders’ negotiated rates using our preferred transportation partner, Dragonfly.

Both shared shuttle transfers and private SUV transfers are available.

Puerto Rico is a United States territory, so no passport is required!

Car seats are not automatically provided with airport transfers. If needed, a car seat can be requested during your transfer reservation process with Dragonfly in advance of conference for an additional $35 each way. Many families also choose to bring their own travel car seat or booster seat.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. A deposit equal to one night’s room and tax is required at the time of booking. Reservations may be canceled up to 7 days prior to arrival by 11:59 PM local time to avoid forfeiting the deposit.

Early check‑in and late check‑out are based on availability at the time of arrival and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Guests arriving before 4:00 PM are welcome to check their luggage with the Bell Desk and enjoy the resort amenities.

No. The Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico operates cashless, meaning cash is not accepted for on-site payments, incidentals, or transactions at the resort.
